Job offer : Administrative assistant
As such you are the key person making sure inventory is accurate so customers and sales team can rely on it.

Under the supervision of accounting:
- Enter suppliers' order in the system (product codes, suppliers' code, cost, etc.)
- When shipments are received, verify merchandise received matches the shipping bill and process the reception of products in the system, so all products are tagged and accounted for. Follow up with suppliers and accounting in case of discrepancies.
- Do regular physical check up on products to make sure all is tagged and accounted for.
- In case of damaged products, process the shipping back to suppliers, follow up with suppliers and customer when necessary. Keep accounting in the loop if a credit to a customer must be issued.
Under the supervision of accounting, this position implies a person at ease with a computer, with enough focusing skills to do data entry with precision and at a good pace.
These qualities are important to be happy in this job:
- Have at least a year of previous experience in a similar job, either inventory or data entry
- Familiar with any kind of inventory computerised system
- Computer knowledge (Excel or Word) with good speed on a keyboard
- Focused and rigorous
- Methodical and organised
As for experience:
- Experience in data entry or data processing is a plus
- Experience taking inventory of any kind is a plus
- basic knowledge of Excel or similar programs
